Rebif

So I found out why my Rebif DDMD was not working.  LOL!
I had an abundance of Rebif.  Before I had Medicare I had Medicaid Share of Cost.
In order to get my medications for free I have to meet a certain $ amount. With that in mind Medicaid
kept sending me Rebif. So I have like 20 boxes of Rebif that I have been using. Well, they are expired!!
I really did not think much of it until my MRI came back with enhanced lesions.
I then asked MS Life Lines if the expired Rebif could be because of it.
And yes!! Do not use expired medicine no matter what it is!!
It loses potency and actually MS Lifelines nurse said they really don't know what
the Rebif does once expired.
How silly am I??
Well, I now have to get rid of all the extra Rebif I have. I was using it and keeping them because this medicine is so expensive and I was scared that one day I won't be able to get it. You just never know with insurance!!
Anyways, just wanted to let you all know my itty bitty mistake!!  LOL!!
